During the implementation of the project between 2023 and February 2026, we were part of an international cooperation focused on digital transformation in the field of long-term care. Together with our partners, we tested innovative solutions aimed at improving the quality of life of people in long-term care facilities, as well as the working conditions of care staff.<\/p>\n

In Slovakia, we implemented two pilot projects:<\/p>\n

\u2022 at the Via Lux facility, focused on the use of virtual reality (VR) to support cognitive abilities and the activation of clients
\n\u2022 pilot focused on the implementation of smart and monitoring solutions, with the aim of increasing safety and the efficiency of care.<\/p>\n

These solutions were tested directly in practice \u2014 from supporting everyday activities to strengthening clients\u2019 sense of safety and social contact. The project brought us valuable experience, new partnerships, and concrete solutions with the potential to improve the provision of care in the long term.
