September was a month dedicated to greenery, sustainability, and cross-border cooperation within the MOUNT GREENFRA project. We officially handed over new green walls at six secondary schools in Slovakia and Hungary, which not only enhance the school environment but also highlight the importance of environmental protection and sustainable solutions.

The green walls were implemented as part of the MOUNT GREENFRA – Mount green infrastructure development for water valorisation (HUSK/2302/1.2/060) project, which aims to promote the development of green infrastructure, sustainable water management, and environmental awareness in the Slovak-Hungarian border region.

Their implementation followed the EcoChallenge environmental competition, in which students demonstrated their knowledge, creativity, and interest in nature conservation. Their success in the competition was transformed into tangible green solutions that have become a permanent part of their school environments.
