Addressing Environmental Burdens in Europe

From February 26 to 28, 2025, a partner meeting of the Safety4TMF project took place in Cluj-Napoca, hosted by Universitatea Babeş-Bolyai in Romania. The project focuses on addressing environmental burdens in partner countries.

Each country faces specific challenges in dealing with historical environmental burdens. In Slovakia, our efforts are focused on the Slovinky tailings pond, where we plan to install modern monitoring systems, assess stability and water quality, and test new solutions to minimize environmental impacts.

The outcomes of these activities can contribute to more effective environmental burden management not only in Slovakia but also in other European regions.
