Annual ECBP 2025 Event in Gorizia: Discussing the Future of Cross-Border Cooperation in Europe

The 2025 annual event of the European Cross-Border Cooperation Platform (ECBP) took place in Gorizia – a two-day meeting dedicated to the future of cross-border cooperation in Europe. The event brought together experts, regional representatives, and officials from European institutions to discuss current challenges and opportunities for life in border regions.

The main themes of the meeting focused on:

The program also included a discussion on the future prospects of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC), its role in European cooperation, and how the ECBP can support its development and enhance its visibility.
