Meeting with Partners within the MOUNT GREENFRA Project

Partners of the MOUNT GREENFRA project, implemented within the Interreg Hungary – Slovakia programme, gathered for a professional meeting focused on the planning and coordination of investments in green and blue infrastructure.

The aim was to share experiences in the field of green and blue infrastructure and to discuss concrete steps for implementing solutions related to sustainable rainwater management, ecological revitalization, and climate resilience in the participating Slovak and Hungarian regions. Partners presented their approaches, inspirations from previous projects, and upcoming activities to be implemented under the MOUNT GREENFRA project.

The meeting program was enriched by joint field visits, during which practical examples of green and blue infrastructure solutions in both urban and rural environments were explored. These included green walls, systems for collecting and using rainwater directly on buildings, as well as local measures focused on the retention and drainage of stormwater.

The meeting contributed to the shared efforts of the partners to develop blue-green infrastructure and to the exchange of experiences across regions.
