On March 27, 2025, the Academic Senate of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University elected the director of the Via Carpatia EGTC, Julianna Máté, to the Board of Trustees of UPJŠ. As the only woman on the Board of Trustees, she will continue the previous activities and continue to develop relations between the university and public administration at home and abroad.
