Ceremonial handover of contracts to successful Slovak and Hungarian beneficiaries

Implementation of small projects is officially launched! In the past few days, we have officially handed over the signed Contracts for financial contribution under the Interreg VI-A Hungary-Slovakia Programme to the successful Hungarian and Slovak beneficiaries of small projects.

The event was also attended by Bánné Dr. Gál Boglárka, President of the Boršodsko-Abovsko-Zemplín County, and Rastislav Trnka, President of the Košice Self-Governing Region, who, together with Julianna Máté, Director of the Via Carpatia EGTC, handed over the contracts to all the beneficiaries and wished them every success in the implementation of events that strengthen Slovak-Hungarian co-operation. A total of 51 small projects were supported in this call. In the coming months, there are varied cultural and historical festivals, interesting sports activities, professional workshops and conferences, camps, excursions for children and tastings of traditional local cuisine. These events are intended for all ages, families with children, seniors, and students from Slovakia and Hungary. We will also promote the planned events on our Facebook page and a summary list can be found at: https://spf-viacarpatia.eu/

The main aim of the supported projects is to strengthen cross-border social cohesion and partnership between Slovakia and Hungary and to inspire each other to build long-term partnerships.

Fingers crossed for the realization and fulfillment of the set objectives!
