Final Conference of the REHEATEAST Project in Pécs

The REHEATEAST Final Conference took place in Pécs, bringing together project partners, experts and stakeholders from the Danube Region.

During the conference, the main project results, pilot activities and experiences of partners from different regions were presented and summarised. The programme focused on sustainable heating, renewable energy sources, geothermal potential, waste heat utilisation and the modernisation of district heating systems.

The expert presentations and discussions highlighted the importance of cooperation between regions, cities, experts and public institutions in finding practical solutions for the energy transition. The REHEATEAST project showed that more sustainable heating and more efficient use of available energy sources are important topics for the entire Danube Region.

Via Carpatia EGTC contributed to project activities focused on the Košice Region. We will present our outputs and results from the REHEATEAST project soon.
