Opening Conference of the new Small Projects Fund under the Interreg VI-A HUSK 2021-2027 Programme
On 13.10.2023 in the Historical Building of the Museum of Eastern Slovakia in Košice was held the Opening Conference of the new Small Project Fund under the Interreg VI-A HUSK Programme 2021-2027, where the new Call for proposals for small projects was presented.
On this occasion, important institutions of the Košice Self-Governing Region, as well as representatives of partner counties from Hungary and Slovakia, which together have been creating a prosperous future for our regions for several years, met.
We are very pleased with the presence of the Managing Authority of the Interreg VI-A Programme, represented by the Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Péter Kiss-Parciu, and the Consulate General of the Republic of Hungary in Košice, represented by the Consul General Dr. Hetey Ágota. Péter Kiss-Parciu in his opening speech confirmed the exceptional relations between the two countries as well as the continued support for the Programme. In his speech, the President of the Košice Self-Governing Region Rastislav Trnka emphasised the importance of the Programme as one of the possibilities to support interesting projects in the regions to promote cross-border cooperation. On this occasion, the EGTC Via Carpathia presented the details and advantages of the new Call.
