Improving student´s environmental responsibility!
The project “Improving the environmental responsibility of students!” was approved within the framework of the Call of the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic for the submission of applications for subsidies in the field of regional development support.
The purpose of the project is to create and strengthen the environmental awareness and responsibility of primary and secondary school students in the Košice region. The implementation of individual project activities will bring immediate positive effects on all selected specific target groups of the project. The results of the project are based on improving and increasing the overall awareness of primary and secondary school students in the fields of ecology, waste recycling, waste management, separate waste collection, circular economy and sustainable development. At the same time, the development of students’ creativity and critical thinking will be supported in connection with the design and preparation of innovative procedures and activities that will contribute to more efficient and better waste recycling, support of the circular economy and sustainable development not only in the Košice region but also in Slovakia.
Project activities include:
- Design, creation and promotion of a mobile educational game
- Creation of comprehensive educational materials and implementation of educational courses for students and teachers in primary and secondary schools
- Organization of competitions in primary and secondary schools
The activities implemented within the project are designed to ensure their long-term sustainability even after the end of the project.
