We attended the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone of the #Artcrossing project

On 30 April 2026, we attended the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone of the #Artcrossing project, implemented within the Interreg VI-A Hungary-Slovakia Programme.

The event took place on the premises of Štós Spa and marked the symbolic beginning of the next stage of the project implementation. The programme included ceremonial speeches by invited guests, including former President of the Slovak Republic Rudolf Schuster, Director of Štós Spa Ján Šimko, and other distinguished guests. This was followed by the ceremonial act of laying the foundation stone.

The project will involve the reconstruction of the historic boiler house on the premises of Štós Spa, creating a new space for cultural, community and cross-border activities.

The #Artcrossing project supports cross-border cooperation and creates opportunities for the development of joint activities in the Slovak-Hungarian border region. Its implementation contributes to strengthening partnerships, regional development, and the support of cultural and community initiatives.
