Cross-border volunteer days

As part of the SKHU Ambassadors project, we organized on 19.7. to 22.7 Cross-border intergenerational volunteer days for seniors. The goal of the volunteer days, which took place in Krásnohorská Dlha Lúka, was to connect seniors and children through joint activities. An interesting program was prepared for seniors from Slovakia and Hungary, in the framework of which they were involved in traditional crafts, folk dances, a visit to a pilgrimage site or the baking of local traditional street food – langos. All participants took away from the event handicrafts they made themselves, positive energy and many interesting experiences.
