Ceremonial laying of the foundation stone of the sour cabbage processing plant

The ceremonial laying of the foundation stone of the sauerkraut processing plant took place on 14 May 2021.

The factory will be built within the SKHU Local + 2 project, which is part of the Cross-Border Employment Action Plan for the Cserehát micro-region. The project partner will set up a plant for the processing of sauerkraut, where it will be possible to process larger volumes of cabbage and also increase the quality of local products. In addition to supporting the production of cross-border products, the main result of the project will be the creation of new jobs, which are necessary for the micro-region due to persistent long-term unemployment.
