Teachers from the Košice region trained again
Košice, 21.10.2021 the second round of training of teachers was organized by the EGTC Via Carpatia within the project “SKHU IT EDUCATION”. The aim of the training was to familiarize participants with the active use of LEGO® Education SPIKE ™ Prime robots, to introduce the LEGO® Education approach of learning, lesson planning associated with the use of robots, classroom management, etc.
10 high school teachers from Michalovce, Moldava nad Bodvou, Spišská Nová Ves, Strážske, Gelnica, and Kráľovský Chlmec met at the Šrobárova 1 Grammar School in Košice. The training took place under the supervision of a university teacher FMFI UK, a graduate of LEGO Education Teacher Academy – Mgr. Pavel Petrovič. All secondary schools in the Košice Region were able to participate in the call ", “Increasing the level of education in the field of IT"”. The LEGO® Education SPIKE-Prime educational kits have thus won 16 winning secondary schools, where they will help students to expand their digital competencies, which will significantly improve their employability.
